I agree that Gonzales would make a crappy judge, but it’s a tall order expecting Bush to appoint a judge who construes the Second Amendment more broadly than Bush himself does. Besides, when it comes to the Second Amendment, gunnies are beggers, not choosers.

Well put, Uncle. I’d much prefer a judge with principles, even if I disagree with those principles. Of course, I support the Second Amendment and states’ rights. I’m pretty fond of all our Constitutional rights. I’ll take a strict constructionist judge over an activist judge any day.
