Yes, I’ve been saying that for years. We’ve had several terror attacks with rental trucks, but none with small arms.

A quote I like is this:
“Guns don’t kill people – drunk drivers do.”
But perhaps it should be:
“Guns don’t kill people – car bombs do.”

The weapon of choice for terrorists is high explosives, usually in the form of artillery shells or mortar bombs with the fuzes jury-rigged for manual detonation.
The automobile is the delivery system of choice.

H.L. has it right, as I thought when I hit the “post” button. On the other hand, note the similarities to the arguement that someones weapon of choice is this gun or that one. Either gun delivers the same payload, but it’s the delivery system that gets outlawed.
Perhaps we should start by banning the “high-capacity” delivery systems (trucks) first.
