Need a quick $560,000?

Regarding Michael Moore’s latest documentary uhm comedy uhm bit of satire uhm whatever you want to call it:

There is not a single factual error in the movie. I’m thinking of offering a $10,000 reward for anyone that can find a single fact that’s wrong.

Perhaps these 56 deceits qualify?

It’s a trick offer: If it’s a fact, then by definition, it’s not wrong. If it’s wrong, then by same definition, it’s not a fact. Clever, No?

    I think Billll nailed it.

It’s up to 59 now, but no matter. As Xrlq posits, they’re not lies or deceits at all, but “intentionally misleading facts.”

From what I’ve read (no way in hell that fat bastard is getting any of my money) Moore does a Riefenstahlesque job of using selective truth to lead the viewer to an untrue conclusion.

According to Volokh, it’s truly a masterpiece of propaganda.

Substitute “Bush” for “Moore” and it reads identically well. On the other hand, Iraq did NOT provide nuclear weapons to al-Qaeda, so that must mean Bush saved us, right? 🙂

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
