Some sickos out there
I hope they find whoever did this and bash their skulls in with a rock:
A 69-year-old woman was killed early Monday when someone dropped a large rock from an Interstate 75 overpass onto the vehicle in which she was riding, authorities said.
That’s abysmal.

Agreed that this is abysmal.
The perpetrator should be charged with first degree murder. Unfortunately, they’ll most likely draw something like negligent homicide/manslaughter with a minimal term.
What’s sad in a way is that there’s no difference between the @$$hole that lobs a heavy rock off an overpass and one that sits off the roadway with a rifle taking shots, yet the treatment of both cases is radically different.
The OH shooter, for example, made national headlines. Yet brick/rock/cinderblock heavings barely make the local papers. It’s the same wanton violence, but one serves an agenda, while t’other does not.
So sad to say…

Interesting observation, jay. I’d say that’s quite true. If i recall, in East TN here we had a rash of these a while back (by rash, like 3 or 4). Don’t recall it getting much press.
