Tough Crowd
I caught (thanks to TiVo) and episode of Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Collin Quinn. The gist of the show is that Collin (who seems to be a libertarian-conservative mix) has guests from differing sides of the political spectrum and they debate social and political issues. Oh and his guests are comedians. It’s fairly funny.
In Collin’s opening monologue he talked about a group of black guys who beat up some white guy. The white guy later died. He then said something like Surely something that important would be in the paper, right. It’s not biased or anything. He then picked up popular papers from a stack and noted that it wasn’t covered.
Anyone know anything about this story?

Collin is an idiot with attention deficit disorder. He cannot stay with the same thought for 3 minutes. He thinks the Patriot Act will expunge all the terrorists just like the rico act was limited to only crime bosses – he is as niave as my 80 years old Betty. It seems he can’t decide to be sartonic or critical in this show. And his knowledge of world and US politics is obviously learned and limited by the cartoons ‘o the week in the Times.
One word for Colin: GROW UP AND START READING SHIT.

I agree. Colin is dumb. My Tivo ends up recording first few minutes of his show after it is done recording Jon Stewart’s The Dail Show. What a contrast. Night and day. I can feel my IQ dropping as I watch Colin’s show. I think the format of the show is not bad, however the show baldy needs someone with a little bit of intelligence.
