Insurance issues
Dog owners were having their insurance cancelled based on the breed of dog they had. Apparently, this is illegal in Michigan, so the insurance commissioner sent a nasty message.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Many ins co’s declien for breeds, the one i sell for does it in a heartbeat. MI is a strange state with ins. In their ignorant attempts to protect the consumer from “evil ins co’s” the rates are 10-20% than other nearby states. keep in mind i love dogs and know that they act the way they are treated/trained but you cant make that exception, so you have blanket policies. it would be nice though if states would allow ins co’s to exclude dog related injuries in the even of a lawsuit.
