I have to conclude it’s just willful ignorance. I understand people not being a single issue voter. There are a lot of gun owners out there who don’t self-identify as such — they vote primarily on other issues.
Actually, I’m going to go ahead and state that there is likely an extraordinarily low number of people who are sportsmen supporting Obama commenting on the issue. In fact, I’d venture a guess that the hate mail Sebastian is receiving is entirely comprised of the Obama truth squad and the number of sportsmen commenting is probably close to zero. I’d lay money on it.

However, I wouldn’t bet against your take on it. I suspect you would win that bet hands down.

I’m convinced this is a new Brady tactic, and I don’t take to conspiracies lightly.
That AHSA group or whatever they’re called need to be discredited so the national media will stop using them to speak for gun-owners. They’re a blatant strawman attempt to make us look extremist. And the national media with their “If it bleeds it reads” motto loves calling on them every time there’s a gun story.
