The employees, shareholders and board of directors of Cooper Firearms of Montana do not share the personal political views of Dan Cooper.
Although we all believe everyone has a right to vote and donate as they see fit, it has become apparent that the fallout may affect more than just Mr. Cooper. It may also affect the employees and the shareholders of Cooper Firearms.
The board of directors has asked Mr. Cooper to resign as President of Cooper Firearms of Montana, Inc.
David Hardy notes his contributions were perhaps illegal, which is not surprising based on the Obama Camp’s donation system.
Update: David has posted a follow up and notes his contributions were not illegal.

Actually, Dave has retracted that assertion. Cooper committed no crimes, and he lays out how he was confused. And the confusion has nothing to do with Obama’s campaign donations online
Look, send a message through the market. Don’t falsely accuse him of crimes when there’s zero evidence of it.

Hence the use of the word ‘perhaps’.
When I wrote that post, there was evidence of that greater than zero.

Mr. Fiskars, surely you see the problem here. A CEO supported a candidate who wants to destroy the industry that his company participates in. No gun industry, no company; no company, no value to the shares in the company.
