Lying to win

Barack Pinocchio Obama asked his supporters to lie for him:

“And if they tell you that, ‘Well, we’re not sure where he stands on guns.’ I want you to say, ‘He believes in the Second Amendment.’

The issue is that he doesn’t. Never has. Did he fight for the gun rights of the law-abiding in Illinois? Nope. Did he sign on to the Congressional Heller brief affirming a right to arms? Nope. What did he do? Supported all manner of gun control.

“He believes in the Second Amendment.”

Yeah, and he’ll still be saying that when he has gun owners lined up against walls and shot.

  2. Linoge Says:

Well, considering how much of a liar he has already been, it cannot be that far of a moral/ethical step for him to have his mindless, adoring throng lie for him as well.

    Anything to win, eh?

No doubt as a Harvard-educated constitutional lawyer, Obama has read many texts that assert and confirm that the Constitution does indeed include a Second Amendment. From this, he has come to believe in the Second Amendment’s existence. However, belief in the existence of the Second Amendment does not mean that he supports or would defend the Second Amendment. On the contrary, based on his actions up to this point in his life, it would be safe to say that Obama neither supports nor would he defend the Second Amendment or the interpretation of the amendment handed down by the SCOTUS.

    JKB beat me to it.

I also believe that D’oh!bama believes in the (existence of) the Second Amendment.

Doesn’t like what it says – especially the implication that the people don’t have to stand for what the self-styled elite want to do to them, but I’m absoultely certain he’s willing to admit it’s existence.

“line you up against a wall”? Sheesh, melodramatic craziness.

Its sad when the wingnut right can only use fear to scare people into voting for them.

Obama won’t take guns. he has supported gun control, and much of the poplulation thinks that a background check and a waiting period is ok. Personally I’m on my last day of a 5 day waiting period and have no issue with it.

Sheesh, come on people. You may want everyone’s front lawn to be carpeted in shells and guns growing in the trees like candyland, but that isn’t sane or acceptable to most of us.

    Lol,

    They always talk about nuts.
    gun nut, right wingnut, etc.

And they also only ever answer the most “out there” claims, you know the easily defended once in a blue moon kinda-joking ones? Honest reasoning? silence. All of a sudden, there is no more “Anons” to talk to

  7. Rich Hailey Says:

He believes in it; he just disagrees with it.

  8. ATLien Says:

how about a 5 day waiting period before your next keyboard purchase, jackalope?

  9. Xrlq Says:

Barack “Well, I think if you’ve got a guy named Barack Hussein Obama, that’s a pretty good contrast to George W. Bush” Obama has always supported the Second Amendment, if you mean the version of the Second Amendment that contemplates the U.S. as the first government in history to need a constitutional amendment in order to arm itself.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
