More Moles

Regarding the NRA’s alleged mole, I’ll tell congress on you:

Senator Frank Lautenberg, a New Jersey Democrat, is the first in Congress to give it a try. On Thursday, he sent a letter to John Sigler, the president of the NRA

Letter at link.

Remember, I’m a mole too.

    Wow, what a tool.

  2. SMiller Says:

I have the name of the person he needs to speak with, it’s Ms. Helen Wait.
So, to get a response form the NRA he needs to go to Helen Wait.

  3. Lyle Says:

“Gun violence prevention organizations”. That’s rich all in itself.

  4. Lyle Says:

How is any of this at all the business of a senator? Isn’t this a bit like Limbaugh’s “operation chaos”? But no, it’s even farther removed from any government process. These are purely private organizations we’re talking about here.

I personally knew a woman who worked for a local retail outlet. Her job was to “infiltrate” competing stores and check up on their pricing and sales practices, i.e. she was a “mole”. This sort of thin happens everywhere all the time. I’ve done it myself. Does that warrant a letter from a douche-bag senator, or is that just good business?

Should John McCain get a letter from a douche-bag senator, demanding he explain how and why he has infiltrated the Republican Party?

Maybe someone needs to send Mr. Douche-bag senator a letter demanding he shut up and back off, or be called on the carpet for trying to intimidate a private organization.

Nothing like a good laugh. Lautenberg appears to have too much time on his hands. Perhaps he could find some time in his busy schedule to address offshore drilling for oil. Nah, that’s not nearly as important as admonishing one organization for being interested in the activities of a competing organization. And I loved this line: “I hope that we can agree that the gun violence prevention debate should be based upon an open and honest exchange of ideas, not on underhanded tactics.” Hahaha! Brady et al have NEVER lied or used underhanded tactics! Thanks for the laugh, Frankie!

    Nuts!

  7. DirtCrashr Says:

Maybe Lautenberg can explain how the Democrat party was hijacked by a bunch of Communist Moles and Enviro-Moles and Anti-Capiltaist Moles?

  8. Thirdpower Says:

Seems Mother Jones has started ‘moderating’ posts.

  9. Cactus Jack Says:

“But whatever occurs, the NRA’s silence up to now hardly allays suspicions about its role in the McFate operation.”

That’s probably becuase the antis would’nt believe anything the NRA says on this subject unless they said that they were involved.

Besides, it aint no business that a senator should be involved with. And for the antis to be screaming about underhanded tactics is like a ku klux klansman accusing someone of racisim.

  10. straightarrow Says:

None of his damned business. Hopefully the NRA will tell him to go pound sand.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
