   It looks to me like they have just declared their position – they aren’t “men of science”, but rather “true believers”, who most emphatically don’t need facts to support their beliefs. I seem to recall getting a similar response from my sister on a couple occasions, but only before she turned 12.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
