Confused and unconcerned

So, it looks like the national nightmare is almost over. I’m referring to the epic battle of Hillary Clinton v. Barack Scooby Dooby Doo Obama.

Both initially agreed to not counting Michigan and Florida. Then, in the great tradition of Democrats fearing honest elections under the rules initially put in place, there was some threats of lawsuits. So, delegates from those two states are now half delegates. Insert joke about three-fifths compromise. Some say it means Hillary is going to steal this thing. This definitely takes a substantial advantage from Barack Itlan Obama. My question: why would Barack Punky Brewster Obama concede to such a decision? If he can’t stand up to the Democrat party’s psychotic ex-girlfriend, who can he stand up to?

Some say, it’s over for her because it is now mathematically impossible for a win. I dunno. I’m a CPA, a finance guy, and, well, you could say I’m pretty good at math. But have yet to figure out (mostly due to lack of interest) this whole delegate thing.

There’s some speculation that Clinton is going to concede. Which I doubt. After all, this election is hers. And it has been since the mid 1990s and no upstart will get in her way. To the end, it will go. So, sit back and enjoy the show. At least, it’s almost over. Barring another lawsuit, of course.

If she suspends her campaign I suspect she’ll divert her efforts toward getting Sirhan Sirhan paroled.

Probably will go to the Supreme Court.

There are over 300 million people in America. The Democratic Party came up with these two people?

Hard to say if that is funny or tragic.

The credentials committee still has the final say at the convention.

Barack Fitzgerald Obama only conceded a net 24 delegates to Hillary, considering he had almost a 200 pledged delegate advantage, this was not a major concession. Had he not conceded this compromise, it may have given her (in her head) cause to take it to the convention.

BTW, when you going to be in Nashville next to buy my beer?

  5. SayUncle Says:

it’s not over yet so don’t go counting those beers (or bourbons – I forget).

  6. Sean Braisted Says:

The bourbon is for when he wins the General Election.

  7. DirtCrashr Says:

The Democrats have a special kind of math all their own, it’s a cross between New Math, 5-Year Program Math, and Short Bus math.

  8. Sean Braisted Says:

Its really not that hard to understand the Democratic Nomination procedure if you take a few months to sit down and look at all the rules…but regardless, I’ll take it any day over the Republican nomination procedure which results in a de facto nominee after a candidate won 1/3rd of the votes in 2/5ths of the states.

  9. Phelps Says:

Anyone who thinks it is mathematically impossible for Hillary to be nominated needs to check his assumptions.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
