    Twitter is useful for groups of friends, and for bloggers if you have a short item that doesn’t quite warrant a blog post. It’s kinda halfway between RSS and chat. You can , for instance, add a widget to your blog that sends an announcement to Twitter every time
    you publish something new.

    I had to warm to it, but I’m liking it more all the time.

    Of course and as usual, some people ARE abusing it but you can block people to solve that problem.
