How they lose

By stating we make arguments that we never make and saying we believe things we don’t believe:

Dellinger is undoubtedly aware of these dangers. His two grandchildren likely spend more time in his home than armed criminals. It is mystifying that Chief Justice Roberts, who has two young children, is not equally aware of why kids and guns are a bad mix.

Really? Via Sebastian.

That’s because they’re not a bad mix. When I was a kid we had several guns and ammo for them in the house and the guns and ammo wer’nt locked up. From our seventh birthdays on up my brothers and I had out own guns. There were no accidents or near accidents at all. All of my friend’s homes were the same way. We were all taught to be safe and responsible with guns and we were then and still are now.

I have 3 daughters and I taught them to be safe and responsible with firearms and there were no problems with the guns and ammo in my home either.

Guns and kids are not a “bad mix” when the kids have been taught to be responsible. But the libs, being about as irresponsible as anyone can be, assume everyone else is just like they are. Thank god most of us are not like them!

The article links to the old canard from Kellerman in New England Journal of Medicine that guns in homes increases likelihood of being killed by a relative. I only not that there were 6 or 7 things higher on the list to make one more likely to be a gunshot victim, including being a renter rather than owning your home, and also including being a drug user or having a criminal record….

So I am safer, statistically speaking, having a gun in my home than I am renting and having druggie felons for room mates. Who knew?

The article–and your selection from it–completely ignores the fact that the locked or disabled firearm is also required of the single man/woman living alone.

Thats why I keep kids out of my home. Perhaps I should get a “No Kids” sign and post it out front.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
