Why are anti-gun activists so violent?

A recurring theme. An anti-gunner commenting at ABC News.

With people like that trying to forward their cause, do we really even need to offer any form of a rebuttal?

The biggest problem I see with it, (beyond the obvious) is that he is apparently young, and more and more of our youth are being brainwashed into this exact same idiotic line of thinking.
Yet he still insists that blue states have a nominally higher level of thinking and education……

People don’t think past the ends of their own noses these days and automatically assume* everyone is like them. Therefore if they’re prone to violent tendencies, everyone else is as well, and shouldn’t have weaponry at their disposal.

    *i.e. have been instructed so

Not surprisingly, ABC only posted anti-gun comments. I just glanced over them after the first 5 or 6 but that was enough. No rebuttals from pro-second ammendment people posted. Reasoned discourse right?

I did have to laugh at the comments about how the blue state libs are sooooo much smarter and better educated than us red staters, their own comments proved them liars and/or fools. Hateful ones to boot.

  4. SayUncle Says:

jack, those were just one person’s comments.

  5. Cactus Jack Says:

All these comments made by one person Uncle?

  6. Ron W Says:

If anti-gun policies work so well, then why do shootings keep happenin’ in gun-free zones?? It seems that those who maintain these zones are at least accomplices of those who prey on unarmed victims–kept that way by rules and laws—enforced by guns, of course.

  7. Dan Says:

The funny ones are the ones equating rape/murder with owning firearms. As somehow owning a gun is akin to raping a women.

    Cactus Jack-
Yes, that is just a list of that one individuals’ crazed meanderings. There were a few others on there that were almost as bad, by other antis.
After checking back in on him, he says he is a 6’4″ muscle bound police officer and can speak for the founding fathers.

This guy is a class act, and should be tested for his mental condition.

  9. FeroVeritas Says:

Anyone notice the continual use of the term “LOL”? I thought only teenage girls and flamboyant homosexuals peppered their writings with LOLs.

Well, I never professed to be the brightest star in the sky, and I do sometimes miss the obvious.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
