Why are anti-gun activists so violent?

Calvin Godfrey:

Well, the numbers are in. We got… um, 8 points out of a possible hundred from the Brady Campaign to Stop Gun Violence.

Which is probably making a lot of you out there really happy because you fucking hate them and would like nothing more than to unload all of your various weapons into the belly of the already-paralyzed Jim Brady.

And from there, comes some lies I would address if Rustmeister hadn’t already.

Absolutely perfect title for this thread. Congratulations.

Not only is the cite about obscene violence by that particular writer (loosely applied term), but if one looks at all the states Brady graded high, they also enjoy the benefits of higher violence. Obviously violence satisfies some bloodthirsty voyeuristic urge in the anti-gun activists. Else they wouldn’t keep demanding more of it.

I only aim to make Sarah Brady cry.

  3. DirtCrashr Says:

They’re violent and angry because they got tiny little do-nothing pee-pee’s, and because it’s frustrating to embrace emasculation as they have been so well indoctrinated.

  4. Kristopher Says:

A bit of projection there …

  5. Sigivald Says:

    No, no.

They’re anti-gun activists because they’re violent, not the other way around.

They can’t imagine that other people aren’t just as violent and lacking in impulse control, and thus they “know” that guns cause people to kill.

(Okay, not all of them, but plenty – I’ve had people offer that very argument against firearms ownership; “I’d shoot people if I had guns!”)

  6. Lyle Says:

Sigivald just made my point– the question is more poignant if you turn it around:

Why are violent people opposed to gun rights? Because they prefer unarmed victims.

DirtCrashr: While I find your comment amusing, I often point out that it is the anti-freedom crowd’s tactic to portray those who disagree with them as having sexual dysfunction of some form or another.

    That being said, I believe it was Don B. Kates, Jr. who said;
A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity.
Though that quote is often attributed to S. Freud.

Certainly I’ll go with the retarded emotional maturity part. I’ll leave it up to the Left to remain hyper-obsessed with sex, bringing it into every argument as their final “gotcha” after they’ve come up short on anything rational to say. “Yeah, well, you gotta small dick!” etc., is not a rational argument– especially when talking to me ; )

  8. Robb Allen Says:

I think DC was openly mocking the Anti crowd by using their argument.

Then again, I could be wrong. The day is early.

  9. Kristopher Says:

If I could kill violent perpetrators at 100 yards with my penis, I wouldn’t need a revolver.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
