Videos To Counter Brady?

I was thinking David Codrea was onto something when I read his post about Lewis Black encouraging folks to submit videos for The Brady Campaign, and he suggested had has videos he did a while back that he’d put online.

Over at my site I suggested that maybe we could produce a collection of videos to stand in contra to those the Brady’s are soliciting, showing ordinary people enjoying the shooting sports, or talking about why the second amendment is important to them.

Good idea? Bad idea? Have a say in the comments.

You know, it’s funny, but I never imagined Kim with an accent. I mean, somewhere I would have to have thunk it, that he would have a South African accent, but just didn’t imagine it reading his posts.

That would be a great starter, but if we’re to have a collection of them, youtube videos are easy to embed in wordpress. I have no idea how I’d handle that.

actually, i really like the idea of submitting videos to counteract the brady submissions. A lot of people have this negative mental image of gun owners, simply because they’ve never taken the time to actually question the stereotypes created by the media. I think this could be an excellent opportunity to show Suzy Soccermom that gun owners are just like her and her friends.

This is a great idea. If Anyone is around the East Tennessee area during this week and weekend, stop by Clinton. Specifically, if anyone is going to be around during the 18th, a portion of the Gun Owners in East Tennessee have a monthly shoot and it would be a perfect video opportunity.

    Search “kateysfirearmfacts” on YouTube.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
