Then why do they call them silencers?

Gabby Giffords brings the dumb:

She seems confused as to what a fact is. And, for your safety, we should remove mufflers from cars and make everyone drive with ear plugs.

The major thing that makes it easier for “active shooters to inflict serious harm” are gun free zones. I would say that most all who oppose sound suppressor so want to keep gun free zones, especially in schools “for the children”.

Sooooooo, let me see if I get this right; we cant have silencers because they make guns super silent assassin weapons that no one can hear, but when someone wants to use them to protect their hearing they don’t do shit and you will need to wear earplugs anyway? I have no idea how that even works.

  3. Glenn Says:

Excuse me, sir, but could you hold on for a second while I put my earplugs in? While I’m doing that could you use that time to put on a little brighter t-shirt so I can see you better. My eyes are going as I get older and I’d just like a better target than your dark sweatshirt. I’ll be with you in a sec.

The whole series from that account is chock full of lies.

    I have a sky color question….

  6. Old 1811 Says:

Historically, there have been a few suppressed weapons used in murders. One was used to kill Sam Giancana in Oak Park, Illinois, for example. Another one was used to kill Allen Dorfman, the Outfit’s lawyer, in Lincolnwood, Illinois. Another was believed to be used in the killing of Los Angeles mobster Frank Bompansiero—
Wait a minute! I think I see a pattern here!

  7. Laughingdog Says:

They fail at Google. Hearing protection reduces noise from 22db-34db, depending on type. Suppressors reduce noise 30-35db. So ear plugs are not more effective.

  8. ASM826 Says:

That would battery powered cars suppressed by design and therefore more dangerous.

  9. Akatsukami Says:

Let’s give her the benefit of the doubt; she may be too brain-damaged to understand the difference between truth and lies.

  10. Braden Lynch Says:

They are actually trying to say that if we make getting silencers/suppressors easier that psychos who want to go on a killing spree will be so much harder to detect by the police?

    FAIL!

As noted above, Gun Free Zones are the common thread to nearly all gun massacres. Armed citizens and armed LEOs stop aggressors. Harsh words and hiding are not viable responses.

They are liars or morons, maybe both.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
