On Trump

Pretty much: I hate Donald Trump, people who love Donald Trump, people who hate Donald Trump, and media who cover Donald Trump.

Particularly, the latter. Though a Trump success may bring about the end of the GOP and the establishment control of politics, he’s kind of frightening.

I trust Cruz more than Trump. Trump is too volatile in his thinking, and that bodes ill for gun owners because he could turn against us overnight.
Cruz’s thinking on the Second Amendment is rock solidly favorable to us, and will likely remain so.
It’s a roll of the dice on any candidate, but Trump would be more dicey for us.

That’s about as balanced of a Trump article as I’ve seen, can’t say I disagree with anything the lady said.

And yet, she’s fulfilling her own prophecy isn’t she? Bemoaning the coverage that she herself is adding to is a perfect example of Trump’s strongest suit; absolute control over not so much the message, as the messenger itself. Brilliant. Charismatic. Bold. Masterful communicator. Tech savvy. So you think none of that has a damn thing to do with running the affairs of the country? Correct, but it has worked for the last eight years; can anyone name a single talent or ability other than the ones listed above possessed by the current occupant?

But there is a big difference that’s important to me and I think most readers here; everybody loves to hate Trump, but Trump loves to hate ’em right back…the media, the lefties, fey foreign govs, and most especially the legacy political party hacks. He’s not financially dependent or beholden to anybody. He’s essentially running as an independent with an R after his name for convenience, and the RINOS are scared shitless he’ll drop even that. Even if you hate the guy, you gotta love him for all of that.

So it comes down to this; I think the guy doesn’t even want to be prez, he just wants to win. But I also think he’s smart enough to do that and plan in advance for a single term, and choose an experienced streetfighter veep to do the real work while prepping to take over the top job four years in. So why not just choose that veep as prez to begin with? Because he lacks all of the enumerated talents mentioned…and I reiterate; those attributes are the only. damn. things. that put and kept that inept puppet Bobo in the big chair for all this time.

    It’s the only way out.

I generally like Trump in that he seems to be his own man and a nationalist, one who prefers his own country, instead of the globalist administrations we’ve had since Reagan and especially now. His understanding and fidelity to the Constitution and especially ALL of the Bill of Rights concerns me. If he gets the nomination, a dedicated Constitutional conservative like Cruz needs to be on the ticket. And in accordance with the Constitution, he would need to acknowledge that, instead of employer, he would become employee, operating under delegated powers.

I doubt if the major media will report this Trump tweet although it’s on the same subject as the one about which there’s supposed outrage:

I decided to vote Burn It All Down a few years ago, Trump is my first chance to do it. Who knew the SMOD would have great hair?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
