Mass shooting in San Bernardino

Reports of up to three shooters. And, in a surprising move, the press is using the word terror more so than they usually do. As I say whenever this happens, expect everything being reported in the first several hours to be substantially wrong.

As Sebastian says:

I dont tend to cover these stories as they unfold. Naturally there will be a lot of people with agendas exploiting this for political purposes. We know the drill by now.

Yeah, everyone will starting playing “pin the political affiliation on the psycho” in the next few days.

This is a totally new modus operandi for the alleged perps; well organized and escaped. No suicide or capture of a lone nut. Who benefits from this apparent no or unknown motive. That’ll be known soon and very soon by whose agenda is rehearsed.

Ok, so I’ve been listening to the different channel scanners this whole time.
They have multiple detainees, three of which (from the sound of the arresting officers) are confirmed to be involved as shooters. Two were taken in a shootout with officers in their SUV, but I haven’t heard much from them since they went to another channel I’m not monitoring. They stated that they had “all of the bodies accounted for originally in the vehicle”, but were still seeking further suspects, and even had some phones. They also released a POI name, Farooq Saeed, but seeing as that came from The Contoversial Times, I’m not sure how correct that is. FBI still hasn’t ruled out a terrorist incident.

These shootings are happening so often now that it is really getting me worried. All the pro-2A sites that I look at (like this one for example) are always saying that we are winning the battle with the antis… But I don’t know if that can continue.

Every time there is a shooting like this, it’s on CNN for days or even weeks at a time, almost until the next one happens. It gives the low information voters the impression that something is going very wrong. It makes them think that the problem is “easy access to guns” and that “common sense gun laws” might be able to stop this sort of thing.

If they get enough low information voters on their side, we could end up like Australia or Canada. The Constitution has been amended before, so it could be amended again.

I hope I’m wrong, I hope I’m being overly paranoid about it… but if these mass shootings continue, it’s going to be hard to convince people that the 2A is not the problem when the entire news media and so many politicians are against us.

Just another shooting in a gun-free zone.

  5. NotClauswitz Says:

How many Presbyterians get so upset at a Christmas Party that they go out to their SUV for chest-rigs and AR’s and come back shooting?

Since there were three, its can’t be attributed to a lone wacko.

  6. RAH Says:

The main lesson being learned is that a shooting can happen at anytime so better to have a gun on you.

  7. Patrick Says:

The extensive use of the word terror has disappeared from most of the article, now that they know the suspect’s names.

They have replaced it with the description, “maniacs”.

  8. Ron W Says:

@NotClauswitz, well, they would only do something drastic if It was called the “holiday party”…just kidding

  9. Ron W Says:

RAH, yes you’re correct,! But the ruling elites want to maintain gun free zones to aid and abet the crazies, criminals and now, terrorists who ALWAYS prefer these soft targets with unarmed victims. And every time this happens the immediate response of the ruling elites like Obama and Clinton is to impose more citizen disarmament legislation on us from which they EXEMPT themselves. That is, they take from others what they keep for themselves.

“Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry.” ― Thomas Jefferson
