The racist roots of gun control are alive and well

Bloomberg: No second amendment rights for blacks.

It’s all about protecting wealthy, white people.

Many persons are unaware that the term “Saturday Night Special” was coined to describe the sort of inexpensive handgun Southern black families would purchase to stand off KKKers on those occasions the latter called, most charmingly, “Niggertown Saturday Night.”

Those same persons are largely unaware that the heart of the Dred Scott decision was Chief Justice Roger Taney’s conclusion that if American Negroes were conceded to have rights on a par with those of American Caucasians, it would become legally impossible to deny them the right to keep and bear arms!

  2. Ron W Says:

Francis, you’re exactly right about the Dred Scott decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1857. Leftist supposed civil rights activists often hearken back to slavery, but never on this issue. That’s because, down through history, the chief aspect of slavery was that slaves were always disarmed and kept that way by the ruling elite class–and so it is even now.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
