ATF making it up as they go

A ruling that says you can’t let someone use your CNC machine or mill to make a gun. Seems to be targeting 80% lowers:

Held further, a business (including an association or society) may not avoid the manufacturing license, marking, and recordkeeping requirements of the GCA by allowing persons to perform manufacturing processes on blanks or incomplete firearms (including frames or receivers) using machinery, tools, or equipment under its dominion and control where that business controls access to, and use of, such machinery, tools, or equipment.

What if I leased the equipment and rented the facilities? Say for a couple hours.

So, how am I supposed to “register” the metal shop I have in my garage? Not that I intend to profit from it, but some knob turners might run an 80 or two across my mill if I can trust them not to fuck up my tools and I’m not supervising them too closely. What if I’m not incorporated? Should I now incorporate so I can be subject to this? Sounds like a load of bravo sierra for most of us. What if you let them do it for free? BATFEIEIO being dumbasses again.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
