We quit discounting, which is to say that our retail discount is now the same for everyone, which makes it simple.
Reasons I’ve been told by customers that we should give them a special discount or a free mount.
Military, police, government at large (like 50-60% taxation, plus the taxes our employees pay, isn’t nearly enough support already).

Commenter on blogs/forums

They all get the same discount now, which is the same discount that people get who don’t ask for a discount.
