Why are anti-gun activists so violent?

Head of Ceasefire, an anti-gun group, arrested for beating his wife. He’s now a prohibited person so that he can’t own that gun that he has.

Journalism professor calls for shooting NRA members. Well, come and shoot me, Sparky.

Calling for the death of gun people to send a message.

Your CeaseFire director may be a felon who can’t own guns, but he can still head an organization that got ONE MILLION DOLLARS from a bankrupt City of Chicago to help reduce gang killings. Hey Rahm, how’s that workin’ out for ya?!

Correction: not necessarily a felon, but yes: a prohibited person.

Numbers are kryptonite to most journalism types. For example, there are around 30,000 gun deaths per year in the USA on average. The NRA claims to have around 5 million members. It would take about 167 years of average gun deaths to kill as many people as this guy is talking about killing at once.

chiefjaybob: Interesting, that the DooT link goes to an article that tells us the director had his weapon taken by the police.

But hey, special rules for special people.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
