The real danger is that people accept lies as truth

On some video I can’t even get 5 seconds into without feeling brain cells die, Sebastian says:

I used to think these people didn’t actually believe this stuff, and it was just spin designed to make Second Amendment rights seems freakish and out of the mainstream. But after having interacted with many of them on social media, many folks on the other side of the issue are utterly convinced everything here is truth.

Well, I think the higher ups in gun control organizations don’t believe the stuff they peddle but the low information people do.

I used to think Joan Peterson’s commongunsense.com blog was the epitome of selective use of reason and facts on the anti-gun side.

Now one can go to http://www.reddit.com/r/gunsarecool to read articles and commentary that are to Peterson as Hurricane Sandy was to a summer breeze.

Yes, the other side has very different beliefs, and ways of thinking (if you dare call it that) than does the pro-rights side.

It is good to know, although hard to understand, their approach to rights, firearms, risk assessment and problem solving. God help the rest of us if their approach is followed on firearms or any other subject.

What starts as spin becomes quasi-religious belief in minds stripped of all filters and defenses by socialized education.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
