Look for the union label

Doing the jobs unAmerican are unwilling to do. Seems some Alabama contractors headed up to the north east to help with getting power to everyone. They were turned away because they’re not union. I’m sure that was a relief to the dumpster divers without power.

See… They still hate the Confederacy. State’s Rights is still an alien concept to them. Oh… Wait… Wrong kind of union. Well, either way, people suffer because of this kind of idiocy.

Well, Bloomberg ran the national guard out of Brooklyn because they had guns.

“We don’t need it,” Mayor Bloomberg said on Wednesday during a press update on the city’s ongoing Hurricane Sandy cleanup. “The NYPD is the only people we want on the street with guns.”

    Apparently, they came anyway.

  3. JKB Says:

My bad, I should have read deeper as you posted on the national guard earlier.

  4. Paul Says:

We need more right-to-work states and then KEEP THEM HOME when the Yankees/liberals ask for help. If they don’t like workers who have the freedom to work were they please, then they can just sit there in the mud.

  5. brewerbob Says:

Please do not equate Yankee with liberal.

Well, on the other side of the Sandy Disaster Zone, Greater Cleveland lost Power all over the place. Now, the Electric Company sent a lot of the local guys to the East Coast to help, which left us Short-Changed when the Bitch hit us.

But I’ve seen local News stories showing Crews from the Carolinas, Missouri and other Non-Union States busting their asses to help us up here, and there has been ZERO reports of the local Union Thugs trying to stop them.

But maybe the local Trade Unionists got the word to leave them alone up here, ’cause Barry needs all the Polling Places he can to be fully functional.

It’s hard to stuff a Ballot Box by Candlelight, you know.

Its just hard to picture why ANY non liberal would Live up North…

  9. John Smith. Says:

Les many power companies in TN and NC are Unionized.. Just the unions do not suck as badly as the northern unions.

  10. Harold Says:

There’s a lot more than one crew being turned away. My son in law is a nonunion lineman from AR. His crew was turned back from both NJ and NY. They ended up going to WV. He now has an even lower opinion of unions and easterners. If unions want to stop losing members, they need to cut the political crap and clean up their image.

    John Smith,

Because your climate sucks large donkey d*** in the south. I prefer the cool/cold. Putting up with progresso-facists is the price I have to pay.

  12. John Smith. Says:

It is cool in south. Yesterday it was 74 with a nightime low of 42…

  13. brewerbob Says:

    John,

Drop the high 10 degrees and I will agree 🙂 . I’m talking year ’round. And I enjoy snow on the ground 5 – 6 months of the year. There are also political and theocratic subjects that I tend to disagree with a majority of the people in that region.

  14. HL Says:

He said he does not prefer the “animated contest of freedom.” =P

  15. Brigid Says:

Maybe they’ll rethink it when they run out of the 3 days of Pringles they saved for that natural disaster.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
