I’ll admit, I was shocked when I heard it. I had to play the video to make sure. Course, she followed it right away with how registration is okay. That takes most of the wind out of my sails on that one.

Down through history that right was the distinction between a free person and a slave, so it makes sense that a black woman like Whoopi Goldberg would support and exercise that right.
Todays’ “liberals” are really not true classical liberals, but rather leftists, like their more radical polticial cousins, Commies and Nazis who denied that right to the people and confined guns in the hands of the government.

Ginny Simone of NRA News said they looked for her name, Whoopi and her real name, Carol somthing or other, and could not find her in the NRA membership files.
Maybe she joined in 1990 or 1995 for 25 bucks and thinks it was for life like the other 10 to 20 million other folks who THINK they are NRA members.
I’m pretty sure the NRA would want to have looked this up!

It’s nice as a meme-breaker, but not for much else.
I’m sure she thinks it’s perfectly fine for her to have a gun, but the little people, they are a different story. I mean, if she articulated a single pro-freedom idea during that conversation, I missed it.

Maybe the NRA should check their records for her birth name: Caryn Elaine Johnson.
She’s just another elitist with a gun and limited and perceived knowledge of the Second Amendment.
But I’m sure a lot of her liberal fan base are disappointed…
