And that’s a good investment?

Cerberus buys the yellow pages for $950M. Why? These are the folks that own Freedom Group.

WTF? My Yellow pages goes from my doorstep right to the recycling bin. I can look up numbers faster on my phone, let alone my desktop than flipping through those relics.

    I know I’m not alone.

Quit throwing those yellow pages away. The pages make great packing material if you need to ship something…

How much a month does one pay to have a “Unlisted number” and keep it unlisted? Paying someone to do nothing monthly is like extortion.

  9. Linoge Says:

Well, we did find out they made good targets this weekend… Nice confetti and stuff.

At least they were discerning enough to buy the “real” yellow pages instead of that reprehensible yellow book thing. That one goes straight to its final reward here. So, I guess it won’t be “real” anymore. Sigh.

    I’m thinking targets…

Lumpy, those were White Pages. You pay to be in the Yellow Pages. You got them both, of course, for free.

I sense a little hipster triumphalism from people who debate which powder to use in a 1936 rifle. Just saying.
