Making a whole gun with CNC

A look at the pitfalls, both technical and legal.

One Response to “Making a whole gun with CNC”

  1. John Smith. Says:

The biggest pitfall for CNC is COST OF EQUIPMENT!!!! Even the small machines are well beyond what hobbyists spend. Amateur machinists on the other hand find it perfectly acceptable.. A hobbyist more often then not will have a small lathe and mill that are not CNC equipped. If you design your weapon correctly it can easily be made on such devices. Mass production existed before CNC!

Here is an ignorant statement:For someone who wishes to remain law abiding, it’s risky business not sticking to traditional designs.

No its not. If you know the law and base your designs on the legal precedence it is simple.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
