Even more anti-gun hypocricy

One of the Joyce Foundation funded shills fancies himself a swordsman. And has learned the value of self-defense.

You lose. We win. Now, we’re just arguing about the tools.

That or you’re a hypocrite.

    ……………..and he’s a hypocrite.

He’s studying “kung fu” at a TKD joint? Oh, man, Dr. Yang would beat him just for that photo.

Dude, they don’t give you weapons in CMA until you are deep into it. When they do give you the saber (dao) in CMA they make you do handling drills and neck flowers until you puke only then do they teach you to hurt people with it. Oh, yeah, and CMA uses the saber in a less than romantic way (lots of hacking and chops).

Oh, and as one who has studied the swords in Praying Mantis (saber, dao, tiger hooks and double daggers) and the baat jam dao in Wing Chun, I can tell you that one Defensive Handgun I class at Gunsite, Thunder Ranch or with Awerbuck is a dozen times more effecient and effective.

Oh, btw, ask any CMA sifu about the Boxer Rebellion and how swords did against guns.

His role models are Thomas Jefferson, Alexander the Great and Clinton?!?!?
That right there is grounds to keep sharp objects away from the man.

@comatus: Cheech Wizard had it right.

Maybe he’s practicing the, “Beating-Plowshare” form and the sword is just a symbol of his eventual passivity and pacifity (sic)?

OK, so lets get this straight. From his quote it appears that this guy is concerned about his family learning to protect themselves. Alright, on this we are on the same page. However, rather than choosing a firearm and proper training(so he doesn’t shoot himself) and giving his family a real chance to resist a violent attack he chooses an antiquated self defense system employing a several foot long blade that will require him to carve an attacker up like a hog at the butcher in order to protect him and his family. Does anyone else see a little blood lust in his choice of defense strategy? Maybe I have a bias against guys like this but it is creepy as shit that he contemplates hacking a guy to death as part of his self defense regime.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
