We don’t need no stinkin’ badges

Lets knock some sense into Sportsmans guide. Those things are, really, a dumb idea.

Gave up on them a long time ago
Poor quality and high prices, anything they had I wanted I could buy elsewhere cheaper

I agree that this pushes the line, but the reality is that some day you may well have to impersonate an officer to keep them (cops) from gunning you down if you dare carry to protect yourself. If you had to use your arm in self defense the next step would be worrying about some trigger happy rookie being the judge, jury, and sometimes the executioner upon arrival. While I do agree with you that these are a bad idea, they might save someones life.

  3. Bryan S. Says:

Going to Brownells isnt much of a choice, as they carry them too. Well, they carry at least the crossing guard / Miss America style ones.

  4. SPQR Says:

The descriptions do contain false advertising as they imply that this tin shield’s are required for “compliance”.

  5. Ellen Says:

If a badge-wearer should encounter a dedicated terrorist, the terrorist will know who to shoot first.

  6. blounttruth Says:

On average 20 people die from terrorist attacks a year, more die from bee stings, and many more innocents die from their local police force, so I would hope that someone that used this badge to carry their license might make an officer think before he pulls the trigger on an innocent person, deal with any other consequences later.

Yeah, screw the whole “sell things people buy” idea.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
