Fraternal Order of Police and guns

Chris Cox sits down with Chuck Canterbury, National President, Fraternal Order Of Police. I used to regularly send money to FOP. But in 2004, they supported extending the ban on weapons that look like assault weapons. They’ve not got a dime since. I wish someone would ask them about that.

I used to regularly send money to the FOP also, until my local PD chief explained that it was basically political money raising scheme for a union (would you give money to the UAW?) and about 0% of it actually got to the police. Now I either give directly to the police department (and it goes to the local DARE programs or other things) or some municipalities actually have a tax deductible trust set up for donations.

    Look up the 100 club.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
