Quote of the day

Perry de Havilland:

So is it hard to believe that someone whose entire world view is based on using force to take what is private without prior consent might have used force to take what they wanted from a woman?

Not at all.

Reading the comments of that thread, it is painfully obvious that there is a logical disconnect among the Socialists and Statists regarding personal Liberty and the interaction with The Collective.

They appear to misunderstand that the only difference between a Socialist and a Slaver is the level of personal interaction with the individual slaves (subjects). What is anathema to them on the individual level, is perfectly acceptable if part of a larger group.

The looters will applaud rape if they are convinced it was done in the name of public welfare.

    To them, intentions are everything.

    Wesley Mouch would agree.

Yeah, I mean, it couldn’t be “Rape rape” if one of their own did it… (sigh).

  5. Sebastian The Blogless Says:

Wow, people are correlating sexual criminality with politics and vice versa.

And we wonder why political discourse is so arsefucked.

  6. SayUncle Says:

Oh noes! He compared socialists to criminals. Spare me.

  7. Newbius Says:

Funny, I never thought it was about the sex. I thought it was about taking things by force from people.

Someone whose worldview says it is OK to deprive individuals (and nations) of their stuff (wealth, production, whatever) on a grand scale to give to others, seems to believe that the same line is OK to cross on a personal level. At least he is consistent.

The people defending him with purple-faced apoplexy (or bored ennui)? Not so much.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
