Very pretty, but would such engraving weaken the case, even if just limiting reloading uses?
I wonder if personalizing the end of the cartridge case, where the primer goes, might be more interesting. The manufacturers already engrave caliber & maker info there.
Why not instead of maker, personalized initials?
There is an ad on one of the cable channels for a murder mystery show, where true crimes are solved. The ad features a cartridge case with “NOTHING PERSONAL” etched on it, where the caliber designation would normally go. So perhaps odd sayings would sell, too.
I’d hate to end up in court with a DA asking why my cartridges said “DIE, BASTARD, DIE” on them, but for novelty items such could be amusing.
