Can only buy boolits from the AmmStore.

  2. Gunmart Says:

And in other news… Google purchases Glock Inc and Microsoft gets exclusive rights to all H&K guns for their video games. Once again Kel-tec gets no love.

  3. Canthros Says:

On the upside, gun ownership amongst college students, coffee-shop-dwelling hipsters expected to increase. Gloss white and chrome new tactical color scheme.

On the other hand, that whole one button thing would be great.

  5. SPQR Says:

The on-stage demo with Steve Jobs ought to be “amazing”, “astonishing”, and fourteen other superlatives.

  6. Beaumont Says:

@Canthros: Chrome AR — I bet I could sell that idea to somebody.

  7. Sigivald Says:

See, that’d be funny if it was, well, accurate.

    It’s not 1995, you see.

(AR parts not compatible with other ARs? Yeah, like any piston system everyone makes!

Though I’d actually kinda like to see what Apple could do with firearms, since they’d actually focus on usability and build quality.

Raising the bars there never hurts.)

  8. DirtCrashr Says:

Battery-powered illuminator catches fire. The whole company shifts to Ruger when Jobs croaks, and then releases a 1911 clone. The Scully-Spindler-Amelio triple-play era returns.

  9. Phelps Says:

Nah, if Apple bought them the complaints would be that you can only get them in black, there’s no manual safeties, it uses some weird half-cocked system instead of a normal SA/DA or DA, and that it shoots a wimpy cartridge like 9mm Luger.

  10. Matt Groom Says:

Parts which aren’t compatible with other ARs? Shuts off when used by unauthorized user? Sounds like what Colt’s AR’s used to be like, and what they tried to do with their handguns.

  11. FightinBluHen51 Says:

So, the question is…will this mean “smart guns.”
