Thanks so much for spreading the word. Sure got me busy for a few minutes there.

I see in the CTD comments an upstanding citizen blaming Mexico for this. What part of Mexico is Anoka MN in? Sure I prefer US ammunition “where applicable.” I’d love to use it for smallbore matches, too, except every single US manufacturer has found it too inconvenient a market to serve, plus they got their ass handed them. So there’s that. Patriotism only gets you so far.

Welcome to our new third-world standing. Maybe some disaffected unionist, a fifth-column antigunner, or a deep-cover terrorist could also be conjured up (and the Martini-Henry orphans do come to mind). What do you want to bet that Fed will respond by e-mailing each complainant a U-Print-It label reading “+P+”?

Once lived near Anoka. Heard an interesting boom very early one morning. Drove by – a crater existed where a storage building once did.

Interesting, at Wal-Mart yesterday a lady was loading the ammo-shelves with Federal .45 but I didn’t buy any.

  4. ViolentIndifference Says:

DirtCrashr: Perhaps they “rolled back” the load.

OK, so I saw this on a different blog and promptly grabbed the case of Federal 45 I purchased last month to check the lot number. And there is no lot number anywhere on any box. And Federal isn’t answering their Customer dis-Service number and hasn’t returned any of my messages. There’s also nothing on their web-page.

  6. DirtCrashr Says:

    I should go take a look…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
