You would think that. Instead, we can find evidence of raids on police armories.

on the tv show Border Wars there was a episode were they did stop a suv and found 5 ak clones in the truck.
they of course called them ak 47s and told all the usual lies about the guns

Yeah, the problem is bad enough to warrant gun control measures, but not bad enough to meaningfully secure the border.

Never really heard what became of that truck load of AK’s that was found in Texas. Think there was like 150 of them in the vehicle?
As to the what, wheres, whos etc…not much has been mentioned. Be really interesting to find out the pedigree of that truck full of weapons, ammo and mags.
In reality I don’t think the Fed’s would care to let that out, probably wouldn’t bolster their case about arms coming from the US side.

to paraphrase Willie Sutton, why did I rob police armories, because that’s where the full-autos are.
any bets on how many of the guards at those armories were either bribed or paid off or both?
