I’m sure the Mexican drug lord who is the owner of this rifle had it purchased lawfully at a US gun store. I can tell by the short barrel and the grenade launcher and grenades.

I saw a rig like that at my local store just the other day. But it had two extra magazines and a box of armor-piercing rounds. Also, they were out of grenades, but said they would be off of backorder by Thursday.
Amazing what you can get for 50 bucks these days!

Purchased at “a US gun store”, no but purchase at “THE” US gun store, probably. You know the one run by the US government for sale of arms to other governments. After that the final owner probably purchased it from one of the many sole proprietorship Mexican gun stores, many who only have the one gun in their inventory.

Well, I suppose you COULD buy that configuration at a gun show.
Of course, it’d require a substantial wait for the ATF to approve the tax stamps and transfers… and probably $30-40k for the hardware.

This pictures is awesome! It looks like one of those packaged toy guns from Wal-mart that you have to open up for your kids. I love how the bullets are taped in there too…
