According to the quick math, he was aiming at a point 324ft above his target to lob the rounds in there.
Dumb question: with an arc like that, how do you even get the scope on target?
Wouldn’t it have to be angled downward looking through the stock and barrel?
I tend to think that guys who can do this have telekinetic powers, kind of like Jedis, and just mentally guide the bullet on line of sight. At least that’s what I tell myself. 😉
Seriously, they say that Chuck Jaeger could see an airplane from 50 miles away and Ted Williams could see a bullet coming out of a gun. There are people with special attributes that help them to shoot well.
Visual acuity probably doesn’t hurt…but I think the skillset here is more having an innate azimuth calculator in your head that really works well.
Still don’t get how you get a scope on the target when you’re shooting with that much fucking drop. That’s insane. Does he hold it sideways?
