ZOMG!!!11 his sense of fashion is deplorable

Yammering because kids are wearing camouflage. Scary terms like dressed to kill. My kids don’t wear it because, well, we’re not a fan. But if they did, it’s not because they’re killers.

Yes. Because camouflage blends in so well on the school yard.

If I had a son, I would send him to school in a Ghillie(sp?) suit.

No different from the black craze when all the teenagers wore black. Fashions crazes come and go. It is natural that camo is in fashion when we are at war.

Dmetri Martin has a great bit on this (not close to verbatim, and minus drawings):

Camouflage in the forest is nice because it blends in and you can’t be seen…

But in the city, it’s like, “hey look, an asshole.”

Getting a little bogoted there, aren’t we? Or are you just practicing “tolerance”.

This anti camo craze is being recycled from the 1990s, when the Old Media tried to associate camo wearing with “white supremicist militia domestic terrorist”. After that, camo became extra popular, and people started selling camo baby clothes, camo teddies, camo everything. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Or maybe he just found that bit from “Important Things with Demetri Martin” show funny, which was sort of the goal of the show, being on Comedy Central and all.

I guess that makes me a bigot as well, since I enjoyed the last South Park, where the entire country started calling guys that put ridiculously loud exhausts on their Harleys “fags”, to the point of even getting the dictionary changed.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
