They scan and copy the whole document anyways. That’s the loophole. They do not dispose of the data, just the form. 90 days, 24 hours, who cares?

Yeah, but the FBI doesn’t destroy the records. You think the a federal agency is just going to destroy records of gun sales. That’s too much power to throw away.
The FBI has the record of EVERY gun sale since they have been getting backround check forms. It the best tool of tyrants and they WILL use it. It’s illegal of course but when has the law stopped the government?

The apology wouldn’t be for your opinion of her prior. All of us have been fooled by people at one time or another. The apology would be for your stated opinion and insulting remarks aime at me and others who saw early on where she was going.
Of course, you could always say we were right too soon, so it doesn’t count.

The remarks about limited intelligence and armchair warriors needing a cause to feel good about themselves. All paraphrased and generalized because I haven’t bothered to archive them, but you can find some of them immediately after I suggested we just wait to see how it turned out. That wasn’t good enough.
We needn’t have had a real disagreement about Gillibrand. I gave my opinion of what I thought she would do and why I thought it. You gave your opinion of what you thought she would do and why you thought it.
I said we should just wait and see, it would be revealed in short order. Don’t know how that was received, but do remember being told of my intellectual shortcomings (again paraphrased) because i don’t remember exactly what was said verbatim.
It wasn’t necessary. But it was done.

If you were told of your intellectual shortcomings, it wasn’t from me. I don’t think you’re stupid, just ill tempered. But either way, you turned out to be right, and I turned out to be wrong. Does that help?
