What media bias?

I thought reporters were supposed to report. Not interrogate.

In Susan Roesgen’s defense 😉 , she is likely more familiar with teabagging than she is with TEA-parties. (Link may not be safe for work.)

  2. ATLien Says:

I saw that and was hoping that after her little show, someone would knock her on the head with their sign.

  3. Matt Groom Says:

It’s nice that CNN is finally ADMITTING that they are Socialists.

  4. Chas Says:

Roesgen is just a camera puppet. She was selected based on who she was, and toes the line she has to toe to keep her job. A low-level employee who turned out to be politically incorrect would be slid off the screen and not be seen again. Obviously, she’s trying to fit in with CNN’s leftist bent and make sure that doesn’t happen, but she is going a bit overboard. Call it a corporate culture thing. Conform or be unemployed. It’s the people you don’t see on camera who call the shots; there’s no point in getting angry at their puppets.

  5. Laughingdog Says:

I couldn’t even finish watching that video clip. By the time she got to the Dad talking about Lincoln, I just wanted to smack the hell out of her.

As for her being a puppet, I say bullshit to that. She’s not some indentured servant. She’s either a true believer, or she is completely willing to sell out her beliefs for a paycheck…..oh wait, those are the same thing.

  6. Madrocketscientist Says:

Mr. “Obama is a Fascist” was making it too easy. It’s does no good to declare a person a fascist if you can’t give concrete examples as to how or why said person is a fascist. Just saying it over & over again is just as pointless and idiotic as Code Pink calling Bush Hitler without being able to explain why.

  7. straightarrow Says:

As it said under the video, at least now we know what the “c” stands for in CNN.

  8. Manish Says:

Thats hysterical..did you come up with that yourself or do you just have fantasies involving Roesgen and tea bagging?

And what MRS said..sorry, you deserve to get mocked if you are seriously trying to claim that the President of the United States is a fascist. Oh wait, I forgot Bush isn’t in office anymore so its o.k.

And yes, reporters are supposed to ask tough questions..its called journalism. Fox featured that bit from CNN too apparently without any sense of irony given their complete lack of any journalistic integrity in their promotion of these events.

  9. SayUncle Says:

Yes, the obama is fascist was over the top. but that’s only one part of the larger piece. Focusing on that one bit is disingenuous.

‘reporters are supposed to ask tough questions’

Yeah, i remember them asking all those tough questions on the campaign trail.

  10. Number9 Says:

That is not journalism. It is yellow journalism.

Notice how the progressives have their talking points down to the very fine detail?

There will be no discussion. There will be no debate.

These progressives think, “We are going from a Republic to a social democracy and you stupid rednecks can’t stop us.”

This July 4th we will see. Pass the word, the Republic is in danger. If a few tea parties drove the progressives to the brink of insanity we can to a whole lot better this July 4th.

    Stay tuned to this station.

  11. Madrocketscientist Says:

I know there is more to it, but Mr. Fascist is like the gap-toothed redneck after a tornado hits. It’s exactly the person you DON’T want talking to the camera because their inability to actually talk about the issues is used to paint the rest of the assembly (note she talked to him and Mr. Lincoln and used them both to characterize the whole crowd).

  12. SayUncle Says:

And don’t you think it’s odd how the press always finds ‘gap-toothed redneck’?

Ask me about a pro-gun rally some time.

  13. Manish Says:

Yeah, i remember them asking all those tough questions on the campaign trail.

Didn’t say that most journalists actually do their job, but thats what it is supposed to be. Seems like only Jon Stewart ever does anything resembling journalism.

This July 4th we will see. Pass the word, the Republic is in danger. If a few tea parties drove the progressives to the brink of insanity we can to a whole lot better this July 4th.

Yeah, #9, it drove me to the brink of insanity or more like mockery. You should spend more time tea-bagging just to drive me insane.

And don’t you think it’s odd how the press always finds ‘gap-toothed redneck’?

Kind of like how at the anti-war rallies, the media reported every “Bush=Hitler” sign and not on the millions of normal people who were just there to protest the war. You’d almost think that the media is just trying to get the most provocative protesters.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
