It was a trick question
A recurring theme here at the old blog is a simple question Why are anti-gunners so violent? I know the answer. Both Egregious Charles and Ride Fast know the answer too.
It’s quite simple, really. People who are either violent or think they can’t trust themselves assume you can’t either. So, they damn sure don’t want you armed.

And – if you extend this thinking globally – it helps to explain why other nations don’t trust the US with all of our military power.
Actually, if you focus on military power and these “anti-gun people”, perhaps that explains why they want the military neutered – they don’t trust themselves if they were in control of all of that power either….
