Today’s idiot

Shirley Conley is a complete lunatic:

Regarding the shooting deaths of the hunters in Wisconsin, it should come as no surprise to anyone that a person capable of killing Bambi and other defenseless animals with assault weapons would turn on humans as well.

Call it “collateral damage” from our wonderful congressional leaders who refused to renew the assault weapons ban. Perhaps now, the surviving members of the hunting party will know how it must feel for the poor animals!

Wow, that was some of the most blatantly idiotic, unresearched, pathos using, anti-gun rhetoric i have read lately. Killing Bambi? linking the hunting of cartoon animals to human massacre. she must only eat vegetables.
Where is the rant about poor Maola the moo-cow catching a bolt through the noggin?

  2. Brutal Hugger Says:

I’m not much for shooting (or eating) animals, but I have a good friend who hunts. I’ll have to keep an eye on him. After all, he did seem a little shifty while carving the bird at Thanksgiving.

I checked her name out and found someone with that name 7 blocks from downtown Gardenia(The city listed under her name) in California. Almost called her and asked her if she was really that cold of a person.

  4. Fox Says:

I’m not a hunter myself, I just amature competition shoot, but how can someone truly compare the two extremes we see here with an unbiased opinion? Simple, they can’t. This woman sounds like the ‘frightened, huddled masses’ I keep hearing about. She’ll keep thinking this way until she gets into a situation where she might become a victim herself, then you’ll see a drastic change in her story. Still, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, so I guess we’ll be hearing more on this later… keep those letters to the editor flowing in, Uncle… This gave me a good laugh when I first read it.

I must fit quite nicely in your idiot category, being unable to feel the least bit sorry for shot hunters.
Maybe you’ve heard of justice, but just haven’t thought about it much.

  6. SayUncle Says:

You’re right, you are an idiot.

  7. Pandu das Says:

Let me clarify. I don’t feel sorry for hunters getting shot, it’s such appropriate justice that it’s a wonder it’s not seen more often. However, I do feel sorry for them and others for whom justice will come on account of their savagely cruel treatement of “farm” and “game” animals. Everyone involved is responsible. Justice means that all those wrongly killed will get the opportunity for revenge. Many look forward to the “sweetness” of revenge, and so violence perpetuates itself. I do feel sorry for those caught up in that, but they have to stop killing for no good reason.

  8. Xrlq Says:

What’s to “clarify?” You made your idiocy clear enough the first time around.

  9. Pandu das Says:

What part of “Thou shall not kill” is unclear?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
