It’s all been done
Apparently, I need to begin blogging earlier. All the other primo bloggers have addressed (the same way I would) topics such as: the kid in MD who got shot, Bin Laden’s tape, and profiling the killer in MD. So, what’s left? Racism! In Chicago, companies are now required to submit to the city records detailing if they profited from the slave trade. So, what a colossal waste of time this is! Instead of trying to move forward with the issue of racism, let’s dwell on the past.
Dorothy Tillman (the proponent of the bill) says:
“It was because of the free labor of blacks. It was because of all of the suffering we took and we did that made America so powerful,” Tillman said.
Well, Mrs. Tillman, I’d bet that you never were a slave. I’d also be willing to bet that no citizen alive this day and age was an American slave. In addition, do you think that every innovation, every idea, every business, and every thing that made this country what it is came from slavery? Well, Mrs. Tillman, you’re absolutely full of shit. I’m sure no American slave labor was used to create our thriving computer industry, our oil industry, our telecommunications industry, the space exploration industry, etc.

I’ve never owned a slave, or was a slave, I didn’t wander forty years In the desert after getting chased out of Egypt. I haven’t burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut-the-Hell-up already.

Dorothy Tillman is a disgraceful racist who enjoys building barriers between people. Her recent attack on an African-American woman (who revieled her corporation where she is employed once employed slaves), stating it was not her Harvard/Northwestern educucation, but affirmative action that got her where she is, was appaling. I bet Ms. Tillman’s 85K salary was a bit more than any slave was ever paid. Her ward is crumbling and losing people by the year. As for championing the advancement of her people, she blocked the start of a Junior college in an improvished neighborhood because the cememnt prourers was not a Black-owned business. Way to bring opportunity to your people, Dorothy!!!

Alderman Dorothy Tillman is a hero in her ward. She constantly stands up for her community. She is responsible for the wonderful development in her ward and is making sure that blacks participate in the rebuilding. She recently distributed almost 1500 gift bags to children and many didn’t live in her ward and got serviced anyway. As for Ms. Brown the Alderman was correct is stating that a jewish person would not stand against the jewish community regarding the holocost. The playing field for black and whites are not level and the work of Alderman Tillman will help to level it. She is an ANGEL.

To suggest that Ms. Tillman is a racist proves once again to me that people who are not of color still refuse to get it..I like many of you believed that I did not practice racism..That is until I was led by my daughter to read, study, view everything I could get my hands on regarding what was really done to a race of people..When I finally did this, let me tell you it took my breath away..Standing inside Dusable Museum, reading and looking at what was done to African Americans, I could do nothing but weep openly, weep at the thought that MOTHERS had no rights to their babies, that at any time the master decided, he/she could snatch these babies up and place them on the selling blocks while a mother coud do nothing but weep..African males also refered to as bucks were chained, arms spread out wide and shot at for the entertainment of white men..Woman and little girls being raped day after day after day..yea, but I had nothing to do with this you say,,Well people, we do..and until you have fallen on your knees in tears and utter disgust at what was perpetrated agaisnt a people, you are not yet free of racism..and so the ? remains to be answered by each and every one of you, “How much of the Uncle Tom syndrome still lives in you?”..Until this is done, political correctness is not only not enough, but it is a joke.Being Latina, who happens to look white, I am privy to white conversation,,your mind set for the most part has not changed..Is the past that ugly that you cannot bring yourself to look at it?? Yes, it is, and the closer you look, the uglier it will get. I will close with saying, “In my opinion, america might as well shut off the lights because america can never repay the damage they have caused, and continue to cause not only African americans,but people all over this world..Hello, we wiped out entire tribes of Native Americans..Torture, rape and murder is what this country was founded on. and further more, the truth be said, this goverment simply changed the title of young African american males from “slave” to inmate.. Thomas Jefferson wrote” All men are created equal”, while he himself owned over 200 slaves, never giving them their freedom. People, Jefferson wrote that ” for the Brits, not for people of color like this goverment has tried to tell us, but guess what folks, they made one mistake,they had him and the others SIGN IT, ha,ha You know how america works, get it in writting..So why then is it so hard for people to believe that restitution is in order?? I’ll answer that for you, because white men/people don’t like anyone messing with their money, that’s why…Even when it’s covered in the blood of those who really earned it….. You go Sister, keep fighting the good fight!!!!!!
