Roberts, again

SCOTUS Denies Cert In Pending 2A Cases. Roberts is the gift that keeps on giving, isn’t he?

The strategy of winning at the courts seems to be failing.

I keep telling people that hoping “the 9 robed fellows rule in a way they wish” is a recipe for shattered dreams.
    Read Heller.
Thanks to “Antonin” it is deemed legal for somebody in DC to keep a (some…) gun in their home, but certain ones can be restricted.
    And that was the “majority”.
DC’s draconian “it’ll take a while to get that license approved” is still in effect, since apparently that was still fine.

I mean, the “Preamble to the Bill Of Rights” reads rather clear to me, but most don’t even know there is one.

It only takes four for cert. The two old ones, Thomas and Alito, could have done it with the two new ones, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. My guess is that they did not consider it earth-shaking enough. They get roughly 7,000 petitions a year, take maybe 150 at most, and resolve around 80-90 with a major opinion.
