What sort of people? Leftists whose rule of politics is that the government needs to control every aspect of our lives, so nothing is permitted except those things the government specifically allows. Freedom to them is something to be abolished, not something to be defended and cherished.

What sort of person doesn’t examine the crime stats of places that allow constitutional carry, compare it to the shithole they live in and say “why not.”

The so called “gun safety instructors” that were mentioned in the article.
They’d be a lot like those “top men” in the first Indiana Jones movie I expect. If any firearms instructors joined up with Bloomberg’s Astroturf to oppose it, I’d like to know who they are and what their credentials are.
