You can’t stop their signal

On Android phones is an feature called Google Discover. Essentially

Koupit Cialis Daily

, you swipe left and it shows news items that you might be interested in. It does this via input from you and location data and whatever metadata they have on you. If an article about something you’re interested in pops up, you can tell the app that you like stories like that. Conversely, if you are not interested in a subject, you can tell it to ignore articles about that subject. And it will.

Typically, the app will give options to ignore either the topic or the website. I have now told it to ignore items about Bernie Sanders five times, yet articles about him show up every time.

As mentioned above, it will give your the option of ignoring the website linked or the topic. Unless, in my case, the topic is Greta Thunderscold. Whenever the little wanna-be-dictator shows up, the only option is to block the website. Not the mentally-ill child with some serious issues.

I have all the Google crap inactive or turned off on my Android, and I never update any of it. I also keep my location off unless I want it on, like when on a hike in the wilderness or using Mapquest for turn-by-turn directions. I don’t get ANY of that annoying junk you get.

I can’t remember if I ever got a “Not interested in…” option for her or not. She seems to have disappeared for me, though. I can’t think of anyone I could possibly care less about. The fact that so many so-called adults are fawning all over her disturbs me. Yes, by all means, take the advice of a wannabe authoritarian.

I had to tell it over and over and over that I didn’t give a carp about sports, which it seems to know now. Lately it’s been all Amber Heard all the time 24/7/365/eternity. It’s been doing a pretty good job of giving me stories that I might want to read, with the occasional WTF.

Interesting. I have no such app or embedded Samsung feature in my Galaxy S10+. Nothing like that in Maps, or in any of the secret sauce security settings in my Googly account.

like the good captain, above, i turn off every android feature i don’t have an immediate use for. i, too, was unaware of this “discover” annoyance of which you speak — and a good thing, because constantly being bugged about my opinion on random things unrelated to whatever i was using my phone for sounds like it’d make me chuck the thing out a window in no time.

whomever owns the search engine owns the electorate.

You kulaks will read what you are told to read.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
