Went away and came back twice as dumb

AOC kinda went away. Or, rather, the coverage of her was lessened. But she, sadly, came back into the spotlight saying her usual dumb things. This time:

“Why were there almost no police officers despite protesters flying confederate flags and [carrying] semiautamtic weapons?

Because gun owners aren’t inherently prone to start riots, unlike ANTIFA or the White Supremacists. Also, in all the coverage of the rally that I have seen, I have yet to see a confederate flag. Wouldn’t surprise me if one was there but I haven’t seen one much less multiple flags.

From the posts and pictures I’ve seen, apparently there were plenty of police officers in attendance, an impressive percentage of which as active participants in the rally. One wonders how many of the police officers who had to work as security for the event that day would have been at the rally anyway were they “off the clock”?

    “Dumb” is a tactic.
Don’t knock it; it works. And we fall for it almost every single time.

In trying to “educate” the left, we expose ourselves as being easily manipulated.

We’d be better served by asking why there are so few police at Democrat Party events, or, say, in Congress, where there are hundreds of criminals just sitting there, without being arrested, as though they belong there.

  3. Lyle Says:

When the inmates and criminals run our asylums and other institutions, of course they’ll be asking why the sane people are so crazy, and why the law-abiding aren’t behind bars. Surely we can all understand that.

    What’s your point?

In other news; the inmates are in fact running the asylum. And the criminals run our legal system at the highest levels. They infiltrated long ago, while our grandparents were either complicit or they weren’t looking. The inmates know exactly what they are doing, and they do it very well. The question is; Are we looking?

Are we complicit? Because it seems to me that so long as we’re playing their game, by their script, engaging in their “You’re dumb!” “No, you’re dumb!” game, then we are sort of complicit.

Sure AOC is dumb as a post, but those who selected her for her towering, almost perfect dumbness knew exactly what they were doing. Again; what’s your point? Yes; AOC is dumb, the enemy’s bullets can be deadly, and water is wet. Now where do we go from here?

I did see what looked like to be a combination Confederate Battle Flag and a US Stars and Stripes flag (merged into one flag), but only in one picture and I can’t be sure if I was seeing two flags from a weird angle as they blew in the wind.

Teddy Roosevelt once remarked that when the roll was called in Congress, the congressmen didn’t know whether to answer “present” or “not guilty”.

  6. Ravenwood Says:

What was very telling is how the police officers walked among the crowds of armed rally-goers with no concern that they were in any danger.

Contrast that to Antifa protests where officers are specifically instructed to not let themselves get surrounded by Antifa members who would likely attack them as soon as they turn their back.

  7. Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner Says:

Since when does flying a Confederate flag require police supervision? Were they “assault flags”?

  8. Ron W Says:

Seems AOC wants an old-fashioned police state where the open exercise our basic Constitutional rights are, like the first two of the Bill of Rights make you are criminal suspect. No doubt, ANTIFA criminal assault mayhem and “hammer and sicle” flags would be EXEMPTED, like Congress EXEMPTS THEMSELVES from laws they pass against us.

“Congress can make no law which will not have its full operation on themselves and their friends, as well as on the great mass of the society.” — James Madison, The Federalist Papers, No. 57.

What is that called? Oh yeah, that’s “the rule of law” and “no one is above the law”.

  9. Ron W Says:

@Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner, such requirements are demanded by ignorant bigots who preach “tolerance and diversity” but don’t apply it to themselves.

  10. Sigivald Says:

Because unlike in your Twitter feed, “a stupid Confederate flag” is not actually a threat of violence?

It’s telling me the person holding it is a giant dumbass, but it’s not telling me they’re dangerous, particularly.

(Equally telling is that all the Progressive posts I’ve seen about the rally studiously ignore the … black people there joining the rally.

One guy at the edge with a swastika or a stars-and-bars, though …

When all you look at is filtered news designed to make you mad, you end up … wrong and mad.)

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
