   No. The bumpstock ban is a regulation published in the federal register, not guidance.

   Ultimately it was designed to fail in implementation. And to eventually be part of the Supreme Court doing its job.

   See, perception is not in fact reality. The former is based on “feelings” while the latter is based on facts.

   Yeah I’m not a nevertrumper. Like, not at all.

   I also am not a trump worshipper, so I live in this reality where he ordered the atf to ban bumpstocks and they did, not your perception of reality where its all some long-con to get the nfa overturned.

   Point about those luminaries is that even their learned selves harbored preconceptions that took time to be proven wrong. Others will take longer and some will never admit they were wrong. So be it.

   I have a *fact* that he banned bumpstocks.

   You have a *feeling* that at some point in the future, it will be ruled unconstitutional, and that this is somehow part of a master plan.

   You have absolutely zero evidence of that, but sure, go on thinking that *I* am the one with preconceptions refusing to admit being wrong…
